An Instrument Rating complements a Commercial Pilot Licence in your aspirations of working in the industry as a pilot. Both Single Engine (SE) and Multi Engine (ME) Instrument Ratings are available.
We put particular emphasis on night flying as the Instrument Rating allows a pilot to fly IFR at night. We believe students need more experience than the minimum hours required by the regulations, to feel comfortable should they need to conduct IFR operations at night.
We have a variety of Multi Engine aircraft available to conduct training in; from the basic Piper Seminole, to the intermediate Piper Seneca. Why not challenge yourself with the more complex Piper Chieftain?
3 Step Process

PanAir offers regular theory courses to assist with your required knowledge
For a Multi Command Instrument rating you will need to undertake the IREX examination and for a Private Instrument rating you will be required to have completed the PIFR examination.
Learn how to depart safely in instrument conditions, navigate efficiently en route, and conduct instrument approaches during day and night operations.
